Jeff and Vicki Nelson have worked in the financial services industry for more than 30 years helping small business owners and individuals with their tax planning, insurance, mortgage and investment related needs.

Vicki launched her career in 1989 as a Certified Public Accountant. By 1995, she was offered partnership with a regional accounting firm where she provided outstanding accounting services and tax reduction consulting to small and medium size businesses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. While raising four wonderful children, she continued to work in public accounting until 2015 when she transitioned into private accounting as the Chief Financial Officer for a regional architectural firm.

Jeff is a licensed attorney and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He began his career in the insurance industry as a claims representative, fraud investigator and insurance defense attorney before fulfilling his life-long dream of serving as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As an FBI agent, Jeff specialized in financial crimes where he successfully investigated and prosecuted a number of high-profile, complex investment related schemes. In 2006, Jeff opened his own insurance and financial planning firm helping thousands of customers with their insurance, banking and investment related needs.

Jeff and Vicki chose the financial services profession and partnered with Redwood Tax Specialists because they enjoy helping people make their lives and the lives of their loved ones more financially secure.
